About The Position
MasTec Civil, a MasTec Company, is hiring a Pile Driver to support heavy highway construction projects. The role operates pile-driving machinery to install pilings accurately for roadway, bridge, and other structures. The position requires mechanical aptitude, safe equipment operation, and the ability to follow plans and instructions.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Ability to operate complex machinery.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate pile-driving machinery to drive posts into the ground for support of fences, buildings, and other structures.
- Review building plans to ensure pilings are installed accurately.
- Inspect machinery before the shift to identify mechanical problems.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
