About The Position

MasTec Civil is hiring a Pile Driver to support heavy highway and transportation construction projects. The role operates pile-driving machinery to install pilings and posts that support fences, buildings, and other structures. The operator reviews building plans to ensure accurate installation, inspects machinery before each shift, and performs basic cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Ability to operate complex machinery.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate pile-driving machinery to drive posts into the ground for support of fences, buildings, and other structures.
• Review building plans to ensure pilings are installed accurately.
• Inspect machinery before beginning a shift to identify mechanical problems.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
