About The Position

This position is responsible for fulfilling customers’ online curbside orders. The Pickup Clerk shops orders throughout the store, verifies and bags products, stages orders appropriately, and provides a smooth, friendly pickup experience. The role involves using technology to receive and manage daily workflow, assisting customers in person and by phone, collecting payment, following food safety and bagging standards, and keeping the curbside pickup area clean and ready for use. Team members may also support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.
Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous service in the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
Greet customers in person and by phone and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
