About The Position
The Picker manages online pick-ticket orders from customers and management by physically pulling inventory from shelves and ensuring accurate delivery of products to NetCost Market customers. The role includes packing orders, preparing them for delivery, loading orders onto trucks, and keeping inventory records up to date. The Picker also supports stock replenishment, storage and dispatch, and safe, accurate order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and remain on one's feet for long periods.
- Positive attitude.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Ability to work in a chilled or refrigerated area.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Experience working with an RF scanner.
Responsibilities
- Pull items from shelves according to number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
- Ensure orders are accurate.
- Stage items correctly for delivery.
- Operate handling equipment and follow safety regulations.
- Plan and monitor product storage and dispatch.
- Oversee stock replenishment.
- Monitor stock control systems and process specific orders.
- Help ensure NetCost Market goals are met.
- Maintain high health and safety standards.
- Shrink-wrap products to pallets.
- Load delivery vehicles.
- Pack orders as necessary.
- Operate scanners to pick the correct orders and manage inventory accurately.
- Perform other general duties as needed.
