About The Position
Maintain plant operations, including picking, equipment operation, and cleaning. The Picker works on the picking line, sorts scrap to upgrade it and removes nonconforming items, cleans conveyor spillage, and helps maintain mobile and fixed equipment. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Understand and adhere to safety regulations.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and work for long periods.
- Ability to repetitively lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Self-motivated team player who is willing and eager to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Sort scrap on the picking line to upgrade it and remove nonconforming items.
- Clean spillage from conveyors using mobile equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain mobile and fixed equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
