About The Position

The Picker is responsible for materials handling, order picking, and inventory control in a fast-paced distribution center. The role also supports shipping and receiving, product storage and organization, equipment upkeep, packaging and labeling, and coordination with other departments to help maintain the efficient flow of warehouse operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts; training may be provided.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or related fields.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin or English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Perform order picking using an order picker or pallet jack.
Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and preparing shipping documents.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensure products are properly stored and organized in the warehouse.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Assist with packaging and labeling products as needed.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
