About The Position
Maintain plant operations, including picking, operating equipment, and cleaning. The role involves sorting scrap to upgrade it and removing nonconforming items, cleaning conveyor spillage with mobile equipment and hand tools, and maintaining mobile and fixed equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Clearly understand and adhere to safety regulations.
- Be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Be able to stand and work for long periods of time.
- Be able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Be self-motivated and a team player, and be willing to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Sort scrap to upgrade it and remove nonconforming items on the picking line.
- Clean spillage from conveyors using mobile equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain mobile and fixed equipment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
