About The Position

Marlboro Manufacturing, a leader in continuous hinge manufacturing, is hiring full-time candidates to work in its manufacturing operation. The Picker Packer works to verify part counts, follow safety rules and instructions, and contribute to department-wide production goals. The schedule is 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow safety rules.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Reliable attendance.
• Able to bend and stand to verify part counts.
• Able to carry out written or verbal instructions and training.
• Able to use measuring tools, tape measures, and calipers.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating paperwork, and blueprints.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

• Prior knowledge of air tools and banding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Verify part counts, including by bending and standing as needed.
• Follow safety rules and carry out written or verbal instructions and training.
• Use measuring tools, tape measures, and calipers.
• Set up and use weigh scales and counting scales, or learn to do so.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating paperwork, and blueprints.
• Work toward department-wide production goals.
