About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Picker/Packer to fulfill jail commissary orders using an automated pick system. The role involves accurately picking and packing items, preparing orders for shipment, and following quality and safety standards. The position is based in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. Employees regularly stand, walk, and lift during their shift, and may be required to work overtime or flexible hours based on business needs. Duties and qualifications may vary with the specific needs of the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift at least 7 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment.
• Familiarity with automated picking systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate the automated pick system to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
• Retrieve and pack items according to order specifications.
• Ensure orders are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.
• Regularly lift and move products weighing up to 7 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing products as needed.
• Communicate issues or discrepancies to the Fulfillment Manager.
