About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Picker/Packer to accurately and promptly pick and pack jail commissary orders using an automated pick system. The role ensures that items are correctly picked, packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment in accordance with quality and safety standards. The position is based in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and involves regularly standing, walking, and lifting during the shift. Overtime or flexible hours may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift at least 7 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment.
• Familiarity with automated picking systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate the automated pick system to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
• Retrieve and pack items according to order specifications.
• Ensure orders are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.
• Lift and move products weighing up to 7 pounds regularly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing products as needed.
• Communicate issues or discrepancies to the Fulfillment Manager.
