About The Position

AriensCo is hiring Pickers/Material Handlers to handle materials for outdoor power equipment. The primary duties are picking parts from modules and hanging them on paint line carriers for delivery to the paint department. Some team members may work on the finish side, removing parts from carriers and placing them in the correct areas for the assembly department. This is not a forklift operator role. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday for 10 hours per day, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with overtime as production dictates. Initial training will take place on first shift for up to two weeks. Pay starts at $18 per hour, with a $2 shift differential.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day.
Ability to use hands to position parts.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies.
Must wear required personal protective equipment.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Handle materials for outdoor power equipment as part of a team.
Handle raw materials and/or parts and place them in designated locations.
Pick parts from modules and hang them on paint line carriers for the paint department.
On the finish side, remove parts from carriers and place them in designated areas for assembly.
Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
Follow standard work strictly and record information according to standard work.
Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals.
