About The Position

AriensCo is hiring Pickers/Material Handlers to handle materials and parts for outdoor power equipment. In the primary assignment, team members pick parts from modules and hang them on paint-line carriers for delivery to the paint department. Some team members may work on the finish side, removing parts from carriers and placing them in the correct areas for the assembly department. This is not a forklift operator role. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday for four 10-hour shifts, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with overtime as production requires. Initial training takes place on first shift for up to two weeks. The role involves standing for extended periods, positioning parts by hand, and lifting items weighing up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies. Required personal protective equipment must be worn. Requirements

Communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Pick parts from modules and hang them on paint-line carriers for the paint department.
On finish-side assignments, remove parts from carriers and place them in the correct areas for assembly.
Handle raw materials and parts and place them in designated locations.
Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
Follow standard work and record information in accordance with standard work.
Work as part of a team and assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals.
