About The Position
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC (MHC), North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership and leasing group, is hiring a Pick Up and Delivery Driver for its Parts function. The driver operates a company vehicle within an assigned area to pick up and transport parts, and plans, organizes, and schedules parts pickup and delivery requirements. This is a safety-sensitive position involving operation of a motor vehicle. The role requires attention to safety, proper care and maintenance of assigned company vehicles, and maintaining a driving record that meets company requirements.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience dealing with the public in a sales or service capacity.
Nice To Haves
- Parts-related experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts as assigned in the most efficient manner.
- Assist the shipping and receiving clerk with checking in and stocking parts.
- Ensure the proper safety, care, and maintenance of company vehicles assigned to the Parts Department.
- Maintain a driving record within company requirements.
- Maintain the fuel and maintenance log.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
