About The Position
Walkenhorst's is hiring a full-time, hourly Pick/Pack employee for its fulfillment and warehouse operations. The role involves locating, scanning, and picking items for individual orders, then arranging and packing those items into shipping boxes. The position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a typical 40-hour workweek. Overtime hours may extend the workday to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Maintain a brisk walking speed.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Understand warehouse safety.
Responsibilities
- Locate, scan, and pick items for individual orders.
- Arrange and pack items and orders into shipping boxes.
- Discard empty boxes in designated bins.
- Stock work stations and/or carts.
- Report spills or accidents immediately.
- Become cross-trained to help maintain workflow balance.
- Perform other duties based on business needs.
