About The Position

At Pick & Cheese, we're redefining the cheese experience with London's first conveyor belt cheese restaurant—now bringing an unforgettable dining experience to New York City. As the Restaurant Manager, you'll lead daily restaurant operations, inspire your team to deliver exceptional hospitality, and ensure every guest leaves with an experience as memorable as the food. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and is passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Experience managing labor, inventory, and daily restaurant operations.
  • Managers Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications (or the ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional hospitality and seamless execution.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate front-of-house team members while fostering a positive and engaging culture.
  • Ensure consistent execution of service, food quality, cleanliness, and brand standards.
  • Manage daily opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
  • Oversee labor scheduling, inventory management, and cost controls to drive operational efficiency.
  • Build strong guest relationships by proactively addressing feedback and resolving concerns.
  • Partner with the culinary and leadership teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing training of new team members.
  • Lead by example, creating an environment where both guests and team members feel welcomed and valued.
