About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time for Houston Music School, Lessons on the Go. The position is in person and involves teaching in students’ homes in The Woodlands and surrounding areas, serving ZIP codes 77380–77382, 77384, 77389, 77375, and 77385. Instructors may set their availability within the school’s open hours; consistency is appreciated, and candidates with greater availability are preferred. A reliable mode of transportation is needed to travel to students’ homes. The instructor will teach piano to students, including young musicians, and should bring a strong music background and a demonstrated love of teaching. Pay is $35–$40 per hour. Employees receive liability insurance coverage and mileage reimbursement. Health benefits options and a 401(k) with employer match are available to part- and full-time employees after 30 days of employment. Lessons on the Go is a traveling music school offering home lessons in The Woodlands and select other Houston neighborhoods.
