About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a piano teacher to teach and inspire students in a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment. The role involves teaching students of different ages and skill levels, building relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and working with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The position is listed at Store #084. Pay is $12.77 per hour for non-teaching time and $10–$23 per hour for teaching time, depending on background and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on piano.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience on related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
