About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Clarinet Teacher to teach and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

This is a part-time position at Store #084 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The posted pay is $12.77 per hour for non-teaching time, plus $10–$23 per hour for teaching, depending on background and experience. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on clarinet.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience on related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
