About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a piano teacher to create an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher builds positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates; partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention; and uses musical expertise to inspire students and foster their growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on piano.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience on related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
