Physician - Hourly - PRN
About The Position
Marathon Health is hiring a PRN hourly physician to provide primary care to adults and children in partnership with local employers or unions. The role focuses on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and building strong provider-patient relationships. Marathon Health uses an advanced, value-based primary care model intended to improve the healthcare experience and reduce costs for plan sponsors. Providers work with smaller patient panels than traditional primary care physicians, have appointments lasting 20 to 60 minutes, and have fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. The position offers the opportunity to work with a team focused on improving the U.S. healthcare system. The pay range is $110.00–$135.00 per hour. The actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level. Applications are accepted until a candidate is selected.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Active state medical license required.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, or in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
- CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
