About The Position

Provides leadership and medical direction for St. Tammany Physician’s Network and assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical care for the physician’s licensed specialty. Provides input into the development of standards of care, participates in the development and support of the network, and maintains clinic schedules as specified in the contractual agreement. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.
• Current BLS and ALS certifications through an International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR)-provided course; ALS is required only by specialty.
• The ILCOR course must include a manikin check-off.
• Must possess good physical health and be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods; lift at least 20 pounds; and work with a moderate level of noise.
