About The Position

Sutter Medical Group seeks a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine Physician to join its team in Folsom, California. The position is associated with a new clinic scheduled to open in March 2027, with strong support staff and a bread-and-butter family medicine practice. The group is open to a four-day work week, but the physician cannot have both Monday and Friday off. The physician must be willing to start on or after March 22, 2027.

Sutter Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 1,600 clinicians practicing in seven counties in Northern California, most within 50 miles of Sacramento. Its clinicians provide primary and specialty care and also participate in teaching, research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work. The group has received local and national recognition for patient care and experience.

The role offers a two-year income guarantee with a shareholder track, productivity-based earning potential, and several financial incentives. Folsom is located between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe and offers access to outdoor recreation, shopping, restaurants, and schools.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide bread-and-butter family medicine care.
