Physician - Columbia Correctional Institution (Lake City, FL)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Physician to provide healthcare services at Columbia Correctional Institution in Lake City, Florida. The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations; treats emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues; provides and supervises treatment for chronic medical conditions; and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent patient diseases and injuries in a correctional setting. The role works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or Statewide Medical Director and collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient, clinically appropriate medical services.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Florida MD or DO license, or ability to obtain one.
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority, or ability to obtain it.
- Ability to pass credentialing and a background check.
Responsibilities
