About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Dentist to provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to incarcerated patients at the Taylor Correctional Institution Annex in Perry, Florida. The role addresses patients’ oral health needs through routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Florida licensure is not required; a temporary license is available. A DEA registration is not required.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited university.
- BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address patients’ oral health needs.
- Perform routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
