About The Position

HSHS Medical Group, an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), is recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join an established and well-known urology practice in Effingham, Illinois, supporting HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. The practice is part of a clinically integrated healthcare delivery system with a built-in primary care referral base, and H-1B visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

  • Active & unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA prior to start.
  • BE/BC in Urology.
  • M.D., D.O., or MBBS.
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Utilize the da Vinci® robotic surgical system for surgical cases.
  • Participate in call responsibilities (to be discussed).
