About The Position

HSHS Medical Group, an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), is recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Urologist to join their team in Effingham, Illinois, to support HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. This is an opportunity to join an established and well-known urology practice in the Effingham community, offering a supportive environment with an excellent quality of life and supportive physician and hospital leadership. The position is eligible for the PSLF loan program and offers significant student loan assistance, a fellowship stipend, a sign-on bonus, and housing and relocation assistance. The role is part of a clinically integrated healthcare delivery system with a built-in primary care referral base. H-1B visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Active & unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA prior to start
BE/BC in Urology
M.D., D.O., or MBBS
Clinical doctorate is required.
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
Must be board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Perform surgical cases utilizing the da Vinci® robotic surgical system.
Participate in call responsibilities (to be discussed).
