About The Position

Seeking BC/BE Thoracic Surgeons to join our team! This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multidisciplinary medical group with over 1,500 employed physicians). Our Thoracic Surgery program is established with strong referral relationships, advanced robotic capabilities, and close integration with Baptist Cancer Center. The primary facility is BMH - Memphis, a 700-bed tertiary referral center. We have an advanced robotic surgery program with access to multiple da Vinci Xi robotic systems. Approximately 90% of cases are performed robotically. There is no required ED call. The flexible practice schedule includes 3-4 OR days per week, multidisciplinary clinic participation, and dedicated outpatient clinic time. There is an established referral base with continued opportunity for growth across the Mid-South region. A dedicated support team includes experienced APPs, first assistants, and specialized surgical staff. You will work closely with the Baptist Cancer Center and participate in multidisciplinary care alongside medical oncology colleagues. Baptist has a general surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach. We have a great collaborative and collegial physician and administrative team. As a not-for-profit system, BMHCC qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
