About The Position

This role is for a Physician specializing in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery at a Level III Trauma Center. The position is 100% inpatient, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is a shared call schedule of 1:8 for evenings and weekends. The role includes postoperative clinic support and dedicated APP assistance, along with allocated trauma OR block time. The facility fosters multispecialty teamwork through excellent system infrastructure.

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Surgery
• Proficient in managing complex surgical cases
• Board certification in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery or truly board-eligible
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty
• Active medical licenses in both Iowa and Illinois
• Demonstrated clinical and surgical expertise with a commitment to holistic care of hand and upper extremity issues
• Submit a Self-Query NPDB report generated within 30 days prior to submission at the time of presentation.
