About The Position

Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC), the Geisel School of Medicine, and Dartmouth Health are jointly recruiting junior faculty dedicated to careers in cancer research. Physician-scientists and clinician-investigators or clinical trialists from all clinical specialties are encouraged to apply if pursuing basic, translational, or clinical cancer research. Successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant or Associate Professors in the appropriate Dartmouth department and become full DCC members. Protected research time and generous start-up packages will be provided. The role is associated with DCC’s Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy (ICI) research program, whose members pursue basic, translational, and clinical research to develop novel small molecule-, antibody-, and cell-based cancer immunotherapies. Program research is organized around three themes: Immune Checkpoints and Antibody Therapeutics; Tumor Microenvironment and Myeloid Cells; and T cells and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. DCC is an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, integrated across Dartmouth and Dartmouth Health, and also hosts the NCI-funded Cancer Signaling, Genomes and Networks (SGN), Translational Engineering in Cancer (TEC), and Cancer Population Sciences (CPS) research programs. Successful applicants report to their appropriate Section Chief and Department Chair. Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in a cancer-related clinical specialty and eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont; the posting specifically requires a New Hampshire medical license. The position remains posted until filled. Interested applicants may submit a CV to [email protected].
