Requirements

• Board certified in Pulmonary Critical Care.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Ability to care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population.
• Strong background in inpatient care and critical procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid South Carolina medical license.
• Must hold board certification in Pulmonary Critical Care.
• ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for intensive care patients and manage hospital general pulmonology consults.
• Work within a collaborative team of up to 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
• Maintain a shift schedule from 7am - 7pm for ICU and 7:30am - 5:00pm for hospital coverage, Monday through Sunday.
• Participate in patient assessments and coordinate necessary care plans.
• Utilize Epic for all documentation and EMR needs.
• Focus on inpatient care with an expected caseload of 10-15 patients per day in both the ICU and hospital.
