The University of Kansas Health System's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) is seeking a fellowship-trained physiatrist in Pain Medicine or Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine to join our academic faculty. This full-time faculty position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive rehabilitation, spine, musculoskeletal, and interventional pain care within a collaborative academic health system. The successful candidate will evaluate and manage patients with pain, spine, and musculoskeletal conditions, perform functional restoration and interventional pain procedures, and work closely with spine surgeons, pain anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation specialists to deliver multidisciplinary, patient-centered care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, faculty members teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students; participate in Grand Rounds, lectures, and other educational activities; and contribute to the PM&R Residency and NASS Interventional Spine & Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship programs. Opportunities for clinical or basic science research, institutional support for scholarly activity, and academic advancement are available based on experience and achievement.
