Requirements
- Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
- Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada, or equivalent from a foreign medical school with evidence of equivalency.
- Certification: Board-eligible or board certified.
- Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship and residency program approved by an appropriate accrediting body.
- Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the service-specific credentialing instructions.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services to Military Service Members and their families.
- Respond in person when required during the Primary On Call period.
- Share on-call duties with other physicians within the department.
