About The Position

Deaconess Health System (DHS) is seeking a Physician specializing in Pediatrics to join their team. This role offers a healthy work-life balance with a structured 36-hour patient-focused week and generous PTO. The position involves minimal inpatient call duties, primarily shared newborn coverage, with neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists handling inpatient care. Patient calls for outpatient care can be managed remotely and triaged by an RN on call. The compensation package is competitive, including a guaranteed salary for the initial period, a productivity model, quality bonuses, a sign-on bonus, and student loan repayment. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package is provided, along with a CME allowance and moving assistance. The role offers a supportive team environment, working alongside existing pediatricians at either the Deaconess Clinic Felstead or Baseline location, both equipped with onsite testing facilities. The physician will be responsible for routine health check-ups, preventative care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, monitoring developmental milestones, providing health counseling, and managing acute injuries and emergencies. The health system is a premier provider of healthcare services across multiple states, known for its quality, compassionate care, and physician-led organization. Deaconess Clinic is a large multi-specialty clinic, and the system serves as a regional referral center. The organization emphasizes quality and patient-centric care, with a focus on physician collaboration and population health management. They utilize a fully implemented EMR system (Epic) for both inpatient and outpatient care, including telemedicine capabilities.
