About The Position
Provides comprehensive pediatric primary care within Nuvia Medical’s value-based care model. Responsible for preventive care, chronic disease management, and pediatric population health.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Active Florida medical license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Knowledge of pediatric quality measures.
- Strong communication skills with families.
Nice To Haves
- PALS preferred.
- Experience in outpatient pediatrics preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pediatric care including well-child visits and immunizations.
- Conduct developmental and preventive screenings.
- Manage a pediatric patient panel.
- Collaborate with care coordination teams.
- Ensure compliance with pediatric quality measures.
- Promote appropriate healthcare utilization.
- Develop care plans for high-risk pediatric patients.
- Participate in pediatric population health initiatives.
- Review quality dashboards and improve outcomes.
- Educate families through anticipatory guidance.
- Document encounters in the EHR.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
