Physician - Pediatric Emergency Medicine - Up to $50K Sign On Bonus!
About The Position
Vituity is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. The role offers an opportunity to work in a 14-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department within a 400-bed facility, with an annual emergency department volume of 22,000. The hospital has 24 pediatric floor beds, 12 PICU beds, a 40-bed Level III NICU, a dedicated 24/7 pediatric transport team, and 24/7 on-site neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, and pediatric intensivists. Pediatric subspecialty services include allergy and immunology, cardiology, ENT, general surgery, neurology, pulmonology, endocrinology, orthopedics, and urology. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $50,000. Physicians may also have opportunities to pick up adult emergency department shifts at St. Mary’s Hospital and at other emergency departments staffed by the group. Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership offering autonomy and local control, financial transparency, equity ownership, profit distributions, and career development opportunities. The estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Total compensation, including partnership income, varies by site and may significantly exceed the stated range. Part-time and per diem compensation is prorated based on clinical hours worked.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship, or a pediatric physician with an Emergency Medicine fellowship.

Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric emergency medicine care at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital.
- Work within the hospital’s dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department and coordinate care with pediatric subspecialty and inpatient services.
- Potentially pick up adult emergency department shifts at St. Mary’s Hospital or other emergency departments staffed by the group.
