About The Position

Essentia Health-Fargo is seeking an AP/CP board eligible or board-certified pathologist to join their team. The team currently consists of 4 pathologists, including those with hematopathology and dermatopathology fellowship training, and 2 pathology assistants. This position is open to general pathologists and fellowship-trained pathologists, though fellowship training is desired but not required. All subspecialties will be considered. The role involves equal division of on-call coverage among pathologists, with a preference for strong clinical pathology skills. The practice is expanding, with opportunities for outreach and laboratory medical directorships. A dedicated supportive staff and laboratory operations team are in place. Pathology Assistants will perform gross dissections, including frozen sections. Autopsies are not part of this role. The system utilizes Epic & Epic Beaker.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• BC/BE in Fellowship as applicable (fellowship not required)

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training is desired but not required.
• Experience is desired but not required.
• Strong clinical pathology skills preferred.

Responsibilities
