About The Position

Essentia Health-Fargo is seeking an AP/CP board eligible or board-certified pathologist to join their team. The pathology department consists of 4 pathologists, including hematopathology and dermatopathology fellowship-trained pathologists, and 2 pathology assistants. The position is open for general pathologists and fellowship-trained pathologists, with experience and fellowship training being desired but not required. All subspecialties will be considered. The role involves equal division of on-call coverage among pathologists, with strong clinical pathology skills being preferred. The practice is expanding its referral base and offers opportunities for outreach and laboratory medical directorships, supported by a dedicated staff and laboratory operations team. Pathology assistants perform gross dissections, including frozen sections, and autopsies are not performed. The EMR system used is Epic & Epic Beaker.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• BC/BE in Fellowship as applicable (fellowship not required)
• Experience and fellowship training is desired but not required.
• All subspecialties will be considered.
