Requirements

DO or MD degree.
NYS Office of Professions Physician license.
Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of completing residency.
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Experience in broad-based orthopedic surgery with a diverse mix of operative and non-operative cases.
Ability to perform procedures including total joint replacement, reverse shoulder arthroplasty, complex fracture and trauma care, sports medicine procedures, knee reconstruction and ACL repair, foot and ankle surgery, and general orthopedic procedures.
Willingness to collaborate with primary care providers, emergency medicine physicians, rehabilitation services, and specialty consultants.
Ability to work in a Level III Trauma Center.
Physical requirements include continual movement, standing, walking, lifting 20–50 lbs., pushing and pulling medical equipment, assisting with patient positioning, frequent bending, twisting, and reaching, high sensory acuity, decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation.

Develop subspecialty interests based on training and community need.
Collaborate with primary care providers, emergency medicine physicians, rehabilitation services, and specialty consultants.
Participate in a shared 1:3 orthopedic call schedule designed to support physician well-being and work-life balance.
Utilize Epic EMR system.
