About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), is seeking to employ an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join its well-established program at its Baptist Health Orthopedic Care (BHOC). BHOC has been awarded four High Performing Hospitals ratings from U.S. News & World Report (2025-2026) for orthopedics, knee replacement, hip replacement and hip fracture. BHOC brings together board-certified fellowship-trained physicians in nine orthopedic subspecialties delivering comprehensive care and has performed more than 12,000 surgeries annually. BHOC provides care for numerous sports teams and events. This is a Full-Time Opportunity (Job ID: FY26-MIA-ORT-05).

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date).
• Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS).
• Additional ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Spine Surgery is required.
• Minimum 3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in spine surgery.
