About The Position

Sutter Medical Group seeks a board-eligible or board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join its established practice in Elk Grove, California. The physician will provide full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, gynecologic services, deliveries, and surgical procedures. The role is part of a collaborative, patient-centered team with experienced clinicians and strong group support, while offering clinical autonomy and an emphasis on teamwork, shared decision-making, and long-term patient relationships.

The practice is described as having deep community roots, a loyal patient population, and a stable, supportive culture. Sutter Medical Group is a multispecialty group of more than 1,600 clinicians practicing across seven Northern California counties, most within 50 miles of Sacramento. Its clinicians also participate in teaching, research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work.

The position is based in Elk Grove, a family-oriented city in Sacramento County with access to urban amenities, major freeways, Sacramento International Airport, and destinations including the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal care and other full-spectrum obstetric care.
• Provide gynecologic services and perform deliveries and surgical procedures.
