Physician - OB/GYN Generalist
About The Position
Spartanburg Regional is seeking an OB/GYN to join MGC – Carolina Piedmont OBGYN in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The established, high-volume practice includes 11 full-time OB/GYN physicians, two GYN providers, and one APP. Its main office is on Spartanburg’s Eastside, with satellite locations in Five Forks, Boiling Springs, and Spartanburg’s Westside. The group practices the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology, and new residents are welcome to apply. The opportunity includes a well-established patient base, community reputation, and strong referral base; secured operating-room block time; and a developed robotic program. Teaching responsibilities are available and welcomed through the system’s new OBGYN residency program. A hospital-employed Laborist program covers night call from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and physicians may pick up night shifts for additional income. Weekend call coverage is 1:8, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The practice has approximately 1,000 deliveries annually, a Level III NICU, maternal-fetal medicine support, and 24-hour in-house anesthesia coverage.
