About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Neurologist to join the Department of Cognitive & Behavioral Neurosciences within the SMG Neuroscience Service Line in Sacramento, California. Applicants may be general neurologists or neurologists with fellowship training or experience in cognitive and behavioral neurology, memory, headache, movement, or neuromuscular specialties.

The position offers opportunities to participate in graduate medical education, including teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship for the emerging Neurology Residency Program and other learners. SMG clinicians may also engage in research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work.

SMG is a multispecialty medical group of more than 1,600 clinicians practicing across seven counties in Northern California, most within a 50-mile radius of Sacramento. The group includes primary care and specialty physicians and advanced practice clinicians, and has received local and national recognition for excellence in patient care and experience.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurology care within the Department of Cognitive & Behavioral Neurosciences and SMG Neuroscience Service Line.
