Physician, Neurology - Neuroimmunology (San Francisco, CA)
About The Position
Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or focused expertise in Neuroimmunology to join their growing neuroscience service line in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and advance a comprehensive neuroimmunology program, delivering cutting-edge care for patients with complex autoimmune neurologic disorders in a collaborative, physician-led environment. The position involves practicing at the forefront of neurologic care, managing a diverse patient population with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), MOG antibody disease, and Autoimmune encephalitis. The role provides the ability to shape program development while working alongside experienced neurologists, subspecialists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
- Fellowship training in Neuroimmunology (or equivalent clinical expertise)
- Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with neuroimmunologic disorders across the continuum of care
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including advanced disease-modifying therapies
- Collaborate closely with infusion services, radiology, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in program development, clinical protocols, and quality initiatives
- Engage in teaching, research, or clinical trials (if applicable/available)
