About The Position

Advanced Radiology Services (ARS), a large, physician-owned radiology practice, is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a partnership track position in Kalamazoo. ARS provides services to over 60 sites across Michigan, including exclusive radiology services for Bronson Methodist Hospital, a 415-bed teaching hospital. The Interventional Radiology service at Bronson performs over 30,000 procedures annually. This role will join a team of four other full-time IR physicians and will be supported by an outstanding team of 8 Advanced Practice Providers.

Requirements

• Certified by the ABR or AOBR
• Completion of interventional radiology fellowship or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• This position would be greater than 90% interventional radiology with some general diagnostic radiology responsibilities.
• The IR practice covers a wide spectrum of inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures, including interventional oncology, vertebral augmentation, TIPS, ablations, trauma embolization, GIB embolization, PAE, pulmonary thrombectomy, venous intervention, central venous access including implanted ports, peripheral vascular disease, biopsies, pain management procedures, diagnosis/treatment of vascular malformations, etc.
• Call responsibilities are shared between the 5 physicians for the year- ~ 50 weekdays per year. Physicians are given the day off after call or paid extra if they need to work that day (or choose to work that day). This time is in addition to 13 weeks of vacation.
