We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist to support the Veteran community in the Brooklyn, NY area. This position is open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals. Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
• If selected, candidates will need to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements consistent with VA medical staff processes.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing Interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to: Angiography, Cryoblation, Balloon angioplasty/stent placement, Line insertion, Chemoembolization, IVC filters, Cholecystostomy, Vertebroplasty Drain insertions, Nephrostomy placement, Embolization, Radiologically inserted gastrostomy, Thrombolysis, Dialysis access & related interventions, Biopsy, TIPS placement, Radiofrequency ablation, Biliary intervention
