About The Position

Ochsner Health System’s John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a BC/BE INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST to join their growing 7-member (3 interventional, 3 non-invasive, 1 EP) Cardiology group at their health center in COVINGTON, LOUISIANA. The Department of Cardiology includes over 80 cardiologists practicing at 5 community locations and at their academic medical center in New Orleans. Ochsner has 2 medical schools and ACGME accredited training programs offering opportunities for research, teaching, and mentoring. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with over 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians across multiple states.

Requirements

• BC/BE INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana.
• Must have current, valid, and unrestricted DEA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Group Subspecialty Practice
• Healthy mix of Inpatient and Outpatient
• Minimal call coverage at only 1 hospital
• Full spectrum diagnostics.
