About The Position

Internal Medicine Physician in Baptist Primary Care - Baptist South practice, joining a team of physicians and advanced practice support. Baptist Primary Care offers the advantage of a broad-based support system through Baptist Health to provide excellent care to patients. The role includes a guarantee of $260,000+ based upon experience, a $20,000 signing bonus, and a retention bonus in year two. Physicians can expect to see an average of 15-17 patients per day and will share a call schedule. The practice utilizes the Epic EHR System.

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board certified or board eligible
• Active/unrestricted medical license
• DEA Controlled Substances Registration Required
• Licensed Physician Required
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License Required

Nice To Haves

• 3-4 years of experience preferred
• Over 5 years of Internal Medicine Experience Preferred
• Over 5 years of Family Practice Experience Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care to patients as an Internal Medicine Physician.
• Manage an average of 15-17 patients per day.
• Participate in a shared call schedule.
• Utilize the Epic EHR System for patient care.
