About The Position

Kittitas Valley Healthcare (KVH) is seeking a full-time Internist to join their independent, rural healthcare organization. KVH provides comprehensive care through clinics, specialty services, and a critical access hospital. The organization emphasizes utilizing the latest care techniques and technologies, with a strong focus on its staff of over 800 individuals. The role involves a broad-scope practice with strong specialty support, modern facilities, and physician-led leadership. Physicians have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients across generations while enjoying flexibility not typically found in larger systems. The Physician is responsible for patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and documentation, and is an integral part of the patient care team.

Requirements

Completion of appropriate License or Certification
Washington State License
Drug Enforcement Administration
National Provider Identifier
Completion of residency
Board Certification in Internal Medicine
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (maintenance required)

Responsibilities

Providing care to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and documentation.
Being an integral part of the patient care team of providers, nurses, and medical assistants.
Participating in afterhours telephone call, shared among all clinic providers.
