About The Position

Fairview is seeking an Internal Medicine - Pediatrics Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic – Fridley. This is a thriving, multi-specialty outpatient practice serving a diverse patient population across age, socioeconomic status, and cultural backgrounds. The Internal Medicine - Pediatrics Physician will examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses, while also providing preventive care and counseling patients and families on acute and chronic conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, team-based care model focused on high-quality outcomes and patient-centered care.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency training program.
BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical exams
Develop differential diagnoses and order appropriate diagnostic testing
Provide preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
Prescribe medications and administer vaccinations
Interpret diagnostic results and implement treatment plans
Refer patients to specialists as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Participate in cross-coverage and care coordination
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and system-based practices
Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
