About The Position

Fairview is seeking an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join their primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic – Wyoming. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, joining a thriving practice that has strong community involvement and has been open for over 20 years. The practice is a 16-provider primary care practice including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. Physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care as part of an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and utilize a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). Wyoming, Minnesota is described as a close-knit small town offering a relaxed, rural-suburban feel, strong community pride, and easy access to outdoor recreation and the northern Twin Cities area.

Requirements

Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or foreign equivalent from an accredited school of medicine.
Graduate of an accredited ACGME or AOA training program.
Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

Manage clinical care using a multidisciplinary team approach.
See an average of 18-22 patients per day.
Work 34 patient contact hours per week.
Participate in call frequency of approximately 1:20 for phone consultations only with first-tier nurse triage.
